This is one of the main reasons I want to start a bike tour company! I just so happened to be in London when this massive Prudential Ride London 2013 freecycle and race was going on, on August 3rd and 4th. 70,000 people were a part of this event. It really demonstrated the interest in biking and encourage people to take part in the sport, either for that day or for a life time. It was incredible to see the amount of people racing through the streets! There was never a time that I didn't see people rushing by! It would be great to see something like this 100 mile tour exist in the U.S., not just as a race, but something everyone can take a part in.
