I just so happened to be in London when this massive Prudential Ride London 2013 freecycle and race was going on, on August 3rd and 4th. 70,000 people were a part of this event. It really demonstrated the interest in biking and encourage people to take part in the sport, either for that day or for a life time. It was incredible to see the amount of people racing through the streets! There was never a time that I didn't see people rushing by! It would be great to see something like this 100 mile tour exist in the U.S., not just as a race, but something everyone can take a part in.
They have several different routes you can take ranging from short and easy to longer and challenging. This is really the type of company I would like to start because I would enjoy the varying routes and the different types of people coming in. Offering different routes allow for locals to enjoy the experience as well.
I really like the San Luis Obispo area as well as the "touristy" areas of Los Angeles, Hollywood, and San Francisco.

Currently, I'm looking more into making mountain biking tours or a historic route. First, I have to look into regulations and see what other businesses are doing to see if biking is allowed in certain areas.
